Production Graphics
The Production Graphics class at Sammamish High School is considered to be one of the top high school graphic arts training facilities on the west coast. This award winning program is designed to give students job entry level skills as well as advanced placement in post-secondary programs. College credit may be earned though successful completion of this course.
This program is a full service graphic arts operation including graphic design, electronic pre-press, digital printing, offset printing, sign-making, and screen printing. The entire operation is run by the students themselves. Once they select an area they want to specialize in, they have the ability to learn all of the ins and outs of that department.
All projects are customer driven. Students work directly with the customers. They are responsible for taking orders, managing work-flow, ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
Students enrolled in Production Graphics also have the opportunity to join SkillsUSA, a student leadership organization.
